Drumming: Healing to the Beat of Life
Cost: Free. Featuring JaneE King, founder of Medicine Drum LLC
Scientific studies show the strong yet gentle healing effects that drumming can have. Being immersed in rhythm, drumming, sound, the beat of the heart, the vibration and pulse of life is intoxicating but also healing on all levels of your body and being. Drumming and a healthy body go hand in hand.
This experiential demonstration will teach how drumming can…lower blood pressure, balance your immune system, reduce chronic pain, relieve stress and more. Indigenous cultures the world over have been drumming for ions. These earth-based cultures know and use the healing effects of drumming and you can too! Your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being is enhanced through the primal pull and vibration of the rhythm and sound.
Drumming has a tremendous health benefit to change people’s lives for the better. Not only will your physical health improve but psychological, mental, emotional and spiritual health will as well.
JaneE will bring some of her hand made Medicine Drums for you to experience.
Get ready to feel good!
